Why did the owners decide to have a pergola on the terrace?

It allows creating the perfect space for relaxing and entertaining on hot summer days. However, the pergola we've built here is more than that.
How was this terrace pergola created?
The terrace pergola adds elegance and sophistication, making the space more inviting to use. However, this would not have been possible if we had relied on more cost-effective solutions.
In this project, we've laid narrow thermo-wood desks on a paved terrace and built an openwork structure made of all-weather Scandinavian wood. Together with the owners, we've decided on an additional screen on the neighbour's side to increase intimacy while at the same time shielding from the wind. The entire piece is complemented by an elegant glass roof and evenings are made more pleasant thanks to multi-zone LED lighting with adjustable intensity.
Why put a pergola on the terrace?
A pergola can be used for a variety of purposes. By putting it on the terrace, it is possible to achieve additional space for relaxation and being active outdoor. Eating meals, playing games, or simply relaxing with a good book accompanied by singing birds in the background is pure pleasure.
