A modern wooden garden house

How about creating a place in the garden where you can put up a comfortable armchair, a table, settle in with a glass of your favourite wine and a good book? The kind of modern wooden garden house we’ve built in terms of this investment constitutes the perfect space for this kind of relaxation. And not just that…

Modern design

We’ve built the 6×4 metre garden house from certified timber, painted in anthracite. Its façade, in turn, is made of transversely arranged wooden slats in light grey, and the floor is covered with Siberian larch planks, which are resistant to moisture, temperature differences, and pests. By coating it with a layer of oil, we have also protected it against the formation of mould and fungi.

The flat roof encloses the simple body of this modern garden house, making it fit in perfectly with the architecture of its surroundings, but the other elements we have fitted into it are also worthy of note. In order to create a comfortable interior space, the slats are deliberately arranged in an openwork pattern, allowing gentle light to enter. Whereas, two of the walls are protected with 8 mm thick tempered glass, which effectively protects the interior against wind. But that’s not all.

Intimate space

The building can be closed off with automatic screen roller shutters, which we’ve installed on the front and one of the side walls. As a result, garden furniture can be left there safely.

When building this modern wooden garden house, we wanted to create an intimate space for relaxation and we believe that we’ve succeeded. If you also think so and would like to have a similar one in your garden, please write or call us.
